My Green Home Building Step by Step
Naturally Life; Ecological House I – Green Home Building
If you have been thinking of building a green home building acording to ecological principles, then you must have have thought about construction method and building materials.
Today the syllables -BIO- and – ECO – are also on the building sector in every one’s mind.
However, a house of wood or bricks must not be – Biological or Ecological – green home building.
Some Products are stamped with “biological or envoronmental signs” like the blue angel in Germany for example. This environmental sign is given by the government stating onlz that a specific product is low in pollutants, but not free of them.
These days people have forgotten how to build according to nature.
Many houses are built with contaminated construction material- and normally they should be decontaminated from hazardous waste.
For a young family with children, an own home stays just a dream because it is too expensive. To have a chance of realizing the dream, they should unite with like-minded people and build together there green home building, just like my “Young Village” .
Formerly the people have built their houses from the material which nature made available to them ; for example, wood, loam or natural stones for the outside walls, reed, straw or shingles for the roofs.
In this manner they originated a house type which was connected with nature and adapted itself harmoniously in the landscape.
Every family was able to have their own house, because the building materials could be retrieved from nature.
If a damage or any problem appeared in the building construction, the inhabitants themselves repaired it.
Today one reflects again on natural, healthy construction methods as in my green home building.
One has learned from the mistakes of the past decades.
This signifies no copy of the construction forms of former epochs, but the turning to a modern, ecological, social and healthy construction method.
However, it requires a change in thinking for the society and politics.

Natural Live; The Ecological House II – Building a Green Home
With a biological-ecological construction method for building a green home, the raw material production, the energy consumption, the kind of the production and the pollutants originating from it as well as the routes of transport should be considered as equally important.
The healthiest and all around best material for building a green home is wood, loam, brick, lime, organic insulation, plant extracts and physical textiles.
Wood is, for example, a building material which was neglected for a long time – in contrast to the Scandinavian countries, North America, Canada or also Japan. Wood
It grows again constantly.
Only in Germany yearly about 30 million cubic meters of wood is grown.
With it one could building a green home – if one goes out from a consumption of twelve cubic meters for a house – about 2.5 million timber houses.
For the building a green home, wood turns out to be an ideal building material: Adjust itself to humidity, smells pleasant, is hardly radioactive, delivers no toxic materials if it was not impregnated or was treated with toxic wood protection products and has a more than 10 times higher warm Conductivity than concrete.
Massive Biological Building Constructions contain massive brick stone, from porotherm bricks, grid bricks as well as from lime sandstone or from lightweight stone as Liapor.
Bricks are made of loam, meaning tone and sand.
However only if the loam is not too radioactive, which means that it dosn’t have a too high burning temperature and no additives are added like Weipa or red mud, are healthy bricks, biological building materials for building a green home.
Lime sandstones are produced of sand and the binding agent is lime, a natural, healthy raw material. Also from ecological view lime sandstone is advantageous, because it is dried without power demand in the air.
Natural stones like marble, granite, tuff, limestones and sandstones used mainly as a surface material for floors, facades, windowsills as well as a road layer and terrace layer in
Undeveloped outskirt areas.
Cork, coconut palm fibers, peat, sheep’s wool, wood-wool-lightweight plates, straw plates, straw loam, saw filings, shavings, bark, wood-wool or also cellulose fibers are excellent, natural Insulating and noise insulating materials. They cause a well-balanced climate because they allow the walls to breath and filter pollutants, they don’t seal like the synthetic insulating materials, airtight.

Natural Live; The Ecological House III – green home plans
The heating system plays a big role in healthy living in green home plans:
An optimum radiation heat is being produced by the massive tiled stove or basic stove because it warms up walls, covers and floors of the room without aerial circulation and dust circulation.
With radiation heat a temperature of 18 degrees centigrade is sufficient as a rule to feel cosy.
A nearly equivalent radiation heat delivers wall heating. The details for it I´ll show in a later article.
The use of solar and wind energy also belongs to an ecological house. Before you decide to use it, you should look up precise informations in professional books and with neutral experts like me. Learn every basic known, from my articles.
An ecological supplemental measure points at a rainwater-collecting arrangement.
Plant sewage arrangements are possible, instead of common sewage pits for single houses, or for whole villages. Besides, dirt and pollutants of sewage are diminished in the root area by reed or Seggen by micro-organisms.
Plant sewage arrangements are suited especially for litter settlement areas with high connection costs to the canalization.
Another ecological construction element is the arrangement of a dry toilet, also known as a compost or humus toilet in which culinary rubbish and feces becomes composted.
A grass roof also brings advantages:
It has an effect as a climate buffer and sound insulation, improves the climate, shows a certain balance for the soil sealing with the building and creates living space for animals and plants.
A “winter garden” or greenhouse is a recommendable specific feature for every house with green home plans. It stores heat which is delivered at night to the core. Beside it effects the energy balance of a building, a winter garden also works as a sound insulation.
You should pay attention to healthy building materials and facilities on a geologically undisturbed construction sites also, because there are different kinds of the ground radiation: Water currents, geologic rejections and fissures or magnetic net grids. One can ascertain them by measurements which are controversial, as for example the rods. Nevertheless, in such geopathogenic zones, according to experience, cancer, rheumatism, nephritic suffering, epilepsy or heart diseases appear. Also plants and animals react sensitively to geopathogenic zones.
Considering construction-biological and healthpreserving view points for green home plans, one can only call a house bio-house if the building materials, the interior arrangements and surface treatments were choosen as natural products, free of pollutants.
